THE AUTHOR’S STATEMENT

Enjoy the Drama traces a young woman’s return to the apartment she once shared with her ex-girlfriend, where every corner replays fragments of their past. Nostalgia gives way to a raw confrontation with love and loss, as memories unfold without fear of pain or joy.

The film’s unordered collage mirrors the chaos of the human mind, while the voiceover offers intimate insights — both through words and tone — guiding the audience into the emotional architecture of memory. Set in the warm interiors of a Quebecois house, the narrative comes alive through the actors’ lived, moment-to-moment performances and a camera that observes with quiet intimacy.

At its heart, “Enjoy the Drama” is a feminine, sensory exploration of love and memory: intense, tender, and evocatively alive.
